Signing in
The dashboard at https://dash.ninthbot.site lets staff and admins manage Ninth Bot from a browser. You sign in with your Discord account.
Sign in with Discord
- Go to https://dash.ninthbot.site.
- Press Sign in with Discord.
- Discord asks you to authorise Ninth Bot. Accept to continue.
- You land on the Servers page.
The dashboard only asks Discord for your identity: your user ID, username and avatar. It can't read your messages or your server list, and it can't act as you. What you can see in each server is decided by the bot, from your roles there.
By signing in you agree to the terms and the privacy policy.
If sign-in fails
The sign-in page tells you what went wrong, for example "You cancelled the Discord authorisation." or "The sign-in link expired or was tampered with. Try again." Press Sign in with Discord again to start over.
Which servers appear
The Servers page lists every server where:
- Ninth Bot is a member, and
- you are staff or admin there.
| Level | Who |
|---|---|
| Staff | Moderate Members, or a ticket staff or ticket admin role from /setup |
| Admin | Manage Server or Administrator |
Each server card shows your level. See Roles and permissions for what each level can open.
Your access is checked live from your Discord roles every time you load a page. If an admin gives you a staff role, the server shows up straight away. If a role is taken away, you lose access straight away, even if you are still signed in.
Don't see a server you expected? Make sure the bot is in it and that you have one of the roles or permissions above. If you open a server you no longer have access to, the dashboard shows "No access to this server".
Banned members
You don't need to be staff to sign in. If you were banned from a server that accepts appeals, sign in and open Ban appeals to appeal. The sign-in page also has a File an appeal link. See Ban appeals.
Staying signed in
You stay signed in for 7 days. After that, the dashboard asks you to sign in again.
Signing out
Open the menu with your name and avatar and press Sign out. You're taken back to the sign-in page. Signing out only affects that browser.
